Delete your YourGuide account

YourGuide is an app by YourGuide (yourguide.ae) that helps you plan and manage your move to the UAE. You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted at any time.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the YourGuide app or go to app.yourguide.ae and sign in.
2. Go to Settings › Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm by typing your email address.

Your account is deactivated straight away, and you're signed out on every device. It's then permanently deleted after 30 days. If you change your mind within those 30 days, sign in again and your account will be restored.

If you can't sign in

Email support@yourguide.ae from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.

What we delete

• Your account and profile details
• Your move plans, tasks and reminders
• Documents and files in your Document Vault
• Your messages with partners and your notifications
• Your app settings and preferences

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment and invoice records: kept for as long as UAE tax and accounting law requires (up to 5 years). Card details are held only by our payment provider, Stripe.
• Security and system logs: kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Backups: deleted data is removed from our backups within 30 days.
• Partner businesses may keep their own records of any enquiries you sent them directly.
